"Reverse engineering & obsolescence"
In many stages of product life, there are problems related to the viability and scalability of the materials from which it is composed. This is clearly due to the different technologies used by different manufacturers based on existing and readily available design and improvement techniques. Reverse engineering is a set of techniques and methods but also a philosophy, which as a concept exists for many decades, but has been used in recent years. This is due to the fact that the rapid development of technology leaves no room for it and does not allow the voluntary production of detailed elements and characteristic products. In this dissertation, initially, a bibliographic review of reverse engineering methods with emphasis on electrical and electronic devices will be made. Subsequently, applications and ways of design analysis will be developed to extend the lifecycle of an electrical and electronic device.
