"Measurement and characterization of rare earths and precious metals from WEEE"

The problem of recycling of electrical and electronic equipment waste is multifaceted and is linked to important issues such as the depletion of raw materials, their stocks and the particular environmental problems of the planet.
The aim of this thesis is to examine methods of recycling WEEE with a focused research field on the qualitative and quantitative determination (characterization) of rare earths and precious metals found in WEEE in the geographical area of Greece, as well as the examination of the viability of such actions in terms of a small and medium-sized enterprise.
