"Error metering techniques in electricity meters with emphasis on smart grids"
Switching from the conventional Power System to Smart Grids is now a fact. Modern Power Systems have begun to incorporate a variety of digital technologies and new electromechanical systems into production, transmission, distribution and consumption of Electricity. Networks that achieve and less environmentally-friendly operation using the above technologies are characterized as Smart Grids. In this dissertation, initially, an overview of the bibliography for smart meters will be made. Then, measurements and tests will be undertaken to create a circuit-like model of a smart meter. Finally, applications that detect and encounter errors on smart meters will be developed.
