Abstract of doctoral thesis TAROUSINOF GEORGIOS

This thesis will use the Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) methodologies in an effort to evaluate and estimate the environmental impacts and carbon footprint of the measuring transformers. In addition, the EU Reference Methodology MEErP for the Eco Design (2009/125/ EU Directive) of Products will be also used, in accordance with the related EU Regulation on power transformers. Among the targets of this thesis is the investigation of a potential new Regulation for Measuring Transformers using the results of the LCA and LCCA methodologies.
